2: Love.
There was one thing that Hiccup never thought Astrid would ever say.
It wasn't "ow!"; even though it was a rarity to hear it in the girl's voice. In fact, he'd heard at least twice, when the blonde thought no-one was around; it seems that even trained warriors have their clumsy moments with their weapons.
It wasn't "It's beautiful...". He'd heard that murmur in his ear as they sailed over the calm seas surrounding Berk, watching the sunset sink down, soft breeze rustling the hair about their ears.
It wasn't "thank you.", for she'd said that in so many ways; through her blue-glazed gaze, her touch and her kisses.
It was three words. Nothing complicated; three, simple words.
They were completely un-Viking, and completely un-Astrid.
He had never expected to find her head resting at his shoulder, murmuring against his skin as buried her face in his neck, arms around his waist.
The thing she murmured was three words, and it made him stop breathing, just for a few moments.
"I love you."
Hiccup smiled. Love was a weird thing, strange and unconditional. And he'd finally found it.
"I love you too, Astrid."

Astrid's feelings
"That's for
everything else." Astrid mumbled while giving Hiccup one last look before running off.
Having reached far away from his sight, Astrid stopped in her track to catch a breather, resting her hands on her knees while swallowing everything that had happened within the past hour. The reason behind Hiccup's sudden and unrealistic success during dragon training was that he had hid and tamed his own dragon! A dragon unlike anyone she had ever seen before, filled with personality and obvious acceptance towards humans in return for Hiccup's familiarity towards it. The minute she'd met the dragons' eyes when it snuggled up to Hiccup as

Lesson Five: Kissing
Hiccup never minded that he and Astrid had only kissed five times since they had become friends and eventually started dating.
Once when Astrid kissed him when he came stumbling out of the house after fighting the Red Death. Again on one of the many times she had apologized for being so mean to him in the past. Another time when Astrid had hurt herself flying on Stormfly and Hiccup helped her walk back home. The next when Astrid thanked Hiccup for bringing everyone’s dragon’s back on Snoggletog. And finally when she simply said—much to Hiccup’s surprise—“you looked so cute I couldn&rs

Envy
"Ah, crap!"
Ruffnut's cry of frustration only panicked the dragon more than it already had been, forcing Hiccup to intervene and calm the beast down before things got too dangerous. Astrid admired his talent as he calmed the dragon down, speaking in soothing tones and relaxing it with gentle hands. Astrid knew best out of anyone just how gentle those hands could be. She couldn't deny it: she had feelings for Gobber's apprentice, and she'd had them long before he had become the hero of Berk. And she'd been sure he'd returned the sentiments.
So why was he all alone with Ruffnut all the time while Astrid watched from afar? While he had still b

It's hard to imagine Astrid ever saying 'I love you' but hey, she has a softer side that only Hiccup ever seems to bring out. ~
